About the Role
Virtual Homework Café Teacher – High School Archimedes Educational Services LLC is seeking a certified high school teacher to support students in a virtual homework café environment. This contract position is ideal for educators who excel at guiding students through assignments, fostering independent learning, and providing academic support across multiple subjects.
Responsibilities
Assist high school students with homework completion and academic support in various subjects.
Provide guidance on study skills, organization, and time management.
Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including special education and ESL students.
Foster a positive and structured virtual learning environment.
Utilize technology and digital tools to facilitate effective online learning.
Communicate with students and parents to track progress and provide feedback.
Qualifications
Certified teacher within the United States (required).
Special Education and ESL certification (preferred).
Experience teaching high school-level students in an online or classroom setting.
Strong communication and instructional skills in a virtual environment.
Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere.
Position Details
Contract position for the school year.
Remote role – teachers must reside in the United States.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 1 PM to 7 PM CST.
Teachers must be available for at least a one-hour block within open hours.
