Service Description

Join a welcoming, collaborative space designed for parents to connect, learn, and grow as advocates for their children. Guided by an experienced advocate, these sessions offer practical insights into navigating IEPs, 504 plans, school communication, and educational rights—all within a supportive, community-centered environment. Once a group of interested parents is confirmed, participants will gain: - Access to live, interactive sessions via video conference in our Virtual Cafe - Guidance on understanding and interpreting special education documentation - Strategies for effective communication with schools and service providers - A space to share experiences, ask questions, and build confidence alongside other parents This service is available following an Initial Consultation.
