Service Description
ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings are required annual discussions for students in Special Education, focusing on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Section 504 meetings address medical, psychiatric, and therapeutic accommodations to support students in the educational system. These meetings can be complex, fast-paced, and overwhelming for parents. We provide professional advocacy and IEP/504 analysis to ensure your child's educational plan accurately reflects their academic, social-emotional, and medical needs. Our experienced advocates help parents navigate these meetings, ensuring their voices are heard and their child's best interests are prioritized. Service Includes: – Advocate attendance at ARD or Section 504 meeting (available nationwide via virtual or phone, or in-person within DFW Metroplex & surrounding areas) – Comprehensive pre-meeting review of all relevant documentation – IEP/504 analysis & recommendations to verify accommodations and support – Assistance in reviewing meeting documents and proposed educational adjustments – Post-meeting Parent Advocacy Progress Meeting to discuss outcomes, refine strategies, and plan next steps In-Person Attendance Fee: For meetings held in-person within the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas, a travel fee applies based on the distance to the child’s school. Parents may request an estimated travel fee prior to booking to ensure transparency in cost. *An Initial Consultation is required prior to this service.
