The AES Virtual Summer Learning Café offers a vibrant, student-centered space specifically designed to support upper elementary and early middle school students (Grades 5-6). Led by our certified educators, this flexible, drop-in program provides a stress-free way for your child to stay engaged in live, expert-led learning while balancing fun and academics throughout the summer. This program fosters academic growth, creativity, and confidence through engaging, structured learning experiences, perfectly preparing them for the transition to middle school. Students will also have opportunities to interact with age-appropriate peers, fostering positive social connections in a supportive virtual environment. Students in grades 5-6 can: - Participate in interactive enrichment activities tailored to their academic level, exploring new interests and reinforcing core skills, often in small groups with peers. - Access quiet learning spaces for independent study and skill-building in subjects like math, reading, and writing. - Join breakout rooms for specialized support in foundational subjects or to engage in creative projects, encouraging collaboration and peer interaction. - Receive guidance for transitioning to middle school, ensuring a smooth and confident academic shift, including tips for navigating new social landscapes. How It Works: Join Anytime – No fixed start dates! Students can enroll daily, weekly, or monthly for unlimited access during program hours. Flexible Learning Spaces – Choose between collaborative sessions for group activities and peer interaction or quiet, independent study based on personal learning preferences. Drop-In Availability – Open Monday–Thursday, 10 AM–6 PM CST, allowing students to participate at their convenience and fit learning into their summer schedule.
